Beyond the awards and nice things people have said about me, what it's all about really is love. My heart reaches out to families and people who are ill or abused, in recovery, out of work, homeless, broke, in prison, orphans, broken families, elderly without family to help out, handicapped, vets, survivors, those who are hurting or struggling in different ways, going through hard times & heartaches & breaks & the folks who love them & want the best for them & show it by their love & support. The charity fundraising events that I DJ and MC have been & are so rewarding! Each wedding reception, birthday party, anniversary celebration, & special event is an opportunity to gather together & let the music & love surround each & every person so that people feel happy, encouraged, & inspired with blessings & healing for so many! I wish you faith & hope! But most of all, I wish you love! (John 3:16) If I have helped you to smile, have some fun, inspired you to sing or dance or tap your feet & clap your hands, then I've done my job & thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your special day! If I may have the opportunity to help you enjoy your special event coming up with wonderful music, great sound, some fun, smiles, & a heart that is into being the best I can be with God's help, I would love to be your DJ! Cee Cee, Sarasota Springfest will be hosting its fifth year in 2011 celebrating families, children and the Sarasota community! The Sarasota Springfest 2010 was a huge success, thanks to folks like you, with attendance of over 5,000 guests. Our plans are to continue the event in the same wholesome manner, keeping families and children in the forefront. Springfest 2011 will be a day spent outdoors celebrating everything that makes our community so very special. This year SPRINGFEST 2010 was an amazing all-day outdoors special event to benefit children who have been abused and to increase public awareness in an all-out effort to prevent child abuse! Sarasota's Child Protection Center with the organizers of SPRINGFEST 2010 will see to it that our most precious resources, the children, benefit as a result of this year's fundraising efforts. Our children are our future! What an awesome, gorgeous day for kids of all ages & families, who participated in the megahuge array of activities, including the 5K & 12K races! A huge thanks to all of the volunteers, chairs & committees, vendors, participants, & guests! The beautiful Palmer Ranch property was magically transformed for the day into a huge, outdoor, family fun event... thanks to the generosity of the Culverhouse family, whose heart is with the children that benefit from the Springfest organization's help in many ways. Proceeds will go to the Child Protection Center in Sarasota to help children who were abused. Public awareness is essential so that together we can prevent child abuse, break the cycle of abuse, & help children to heal. Our children are our future. Every child deserves to be safe, happy, & loved! SPRINGFEST 2009 was a very special event for everyone who shared the day with us! The event took place on the Palmer Ranch property in Sarasota, Florida, & DJ CeeCee was MC / DJ / Spokesperson & Announcer during this great outdoor childrens' festival organized by Springfest. Proceeds were for the benefit of children who had been abused, for treatment & special programs to prevent child abuse, & to break the cycle so that all children are safe, happy, & loved. There were many special activities, pony rides, games, hair & face painting, rides, weightlifting, family walk, races, puppet show, and more! Entertainment included DJ CeeCee as DJ/MC, the Revelle Dance Academy dancers, & The Papa Schmitz Band. The winds were crazy, but everyone had tons of fun! Thank you to the Sarasota Sheriff's Department, guests & vendors, the wonderful volunteers, & the generous sponsors who contributed to make this special event happen!
